New Hardware

Yea! We finally have new hardware on our kitchen cabinets! We have been intending to do this since we moved into this house and have finally gotten it done. You might be wondering why it was such a big deal to do it. The reason is we had to take off all the doors, fill old holes, drill new holes, sand them, and repaint them. The people who had put the horrid-looking 70's hardware on the cabinets had not allowed the paint on the cabinets to dry completely before putting the hardware on, thus the reason for having to sand and repaint. The kitchen looks so much better now! Scott did a wonderful job. Here are a couple of pictures of our new and improved kitchen.

Here is a picture of Will with a flexible screwdriver he found on the floor (it didn't have any tips on it, don't worry). He was just so cute trying to "fix" the cabinet doors just like Dad!

Here is just a cute one of Will looking up at his dad. He is wearing the jacket I bought for him at this time last year. I loved it last year and they didn't have it in his size, so I got the 18 mo. size so he could wear it this year. It fits!

Cute Things

This morning we were able to get some pictures of Will at the piano in his diaper. They aren't the best pictures, but they are too cute not to share :)

We had to give Will a bath in the middle of the day today. He had just woken from a nap and was very adament about wanting his "bear" with him in the tub. We didn't feel like putting up a fight with him about it, so we let him have his bear in the bathtub this one time. It was so funny that I had to get some pictures of it.

I threw the bear in the dryer (after exchanging it for the dry blue one, of course) after the bath, and it's good as new. It even smells like a baby!

Drunken Midget?

While watching TV last night, a promo for The Tonight Show came on announcing Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey as one of the guests. Tina was talking about motherhood and she said, "it's like having a drunken midget wandering around the house all the time." How true, how true. Most of the time Will is pretty steady on his feet, but there are times when he certainly looks like a drunken midget.

Anywho...here are some pictures of Will and my mom from her weekend here. We had her birthday lunch/dinner at On the Border. YUM!

King of the Mountain

Will had fun playing "King of the Mountain" on our bed this morning...

Climbing...

...I made it to the top!

...getting sleepy...

I also asked him to pose for me this morning, by saying, "Smile!" and showing him what to do. He actually did it back at me, teeth showing and all! Here is the result:
