The End is Near!
Refinishing our living room floors--a.k.a. "the never-ending project." Scott began this home improvement marathon by ripping up the carpet over Labor Day weekend. It is now March 1st, and we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel! He put the third clear topcoat on yesterday. It looks pretty darn good, too! The next phase of the project is the baseboards and quarter-rounds. Fun fun! Soon we will be able to return the living room furniture to its rightful home.
When this is complete, we will begin yet another floor project--glazing the cement in our den (we severely dislike carpet, in case you couldn't tell!).
P.S. I, Scott, do not approve of the title "the never-ending project" due to its derogatory nature. It took way longer than expected, but I had to wait until Lauren and Will would be gone before I stank up the house with stain fumes and urethane fumes. I was trying to be health conscious.

Scott,
It looks beautiful, WOW!! I, for one, appreciate you not fumigating my daughter and grandson in the process. Now you can enjoy the fruit of your labor :)

You could always just name it
You could have named it..."It'll Be Done Next Year!" But I guess Dad claimed that one back in Enterprise... It looks amazing!
